Once the firmware was installed their ability to play games disappeared with such notices as ‘disc unreadable’ or ‘disc unsupported’ errors. Over the years the Mac operating system has remained safer than the Windows OS. This is in part due to the fact that the hackers did not see the Mac platform as a viable target compared to Windows. Although, it appears that this may be changing as more hackers are now targeting the Mac platform.

In addition, Bing has been gaining some traction in the U.S. with it now accounting nearly 30 percent of the searches. It appears to be good news all around for Microsoft. However, despite the growth in its search market share, Bing has been burning a hole in Microsoft’s pocket.
