The people in charge of the European Union really don’t like Microsoft. They tend to see it as an overly-dominant company which succeeds in maintaining its huge market share in many sectors by unfair means. Microsoft, rather unsurprisingly, disagrees. But Microsoft hasn’t given up the fight quite yet and is preparing to launch a new search engine and an expensive new ad campaign to push it onto the public.

Microsoft is set to target the burgeoning netbook market extensively with Windows 7 upon release. Unlike Vista, Windows 7 has been designed to work on these low-cost, low-grade machines.
