Vista malfunctions after bloatware uninstalled from Toshiba laptop

By Jonathan Schlaffer

Vista malfunctions after bloatware uninstalled from Toshiba laptop These days, desktops and laptops from just about every manufacturer under the sun will ship with several bloatware titles like unwanted media or security applications.  Toshiba seems to place a bit of importance on the applications (useful or not) that ship with its computers, so important that technical support blamed the owner of one laptop for the malfunction that occurred.

Most users are unhappy with the numerous bloatware and trialware that ship with a new computer and removing those applications can be a time consuming process.

The Consumerist reports on one Toshiba owner that was in the process of removing those applications presumably from Windows Vista, when the laptop experienced a blue screen of death (BSOD) error.

Toshiba support actually blamed the user for the error saying, “it may be your fault that your computer is broken because you tried to uninstall it [the bloatware].

not surprising microsofts made many enhancements allowing oems to integrate bloatware so it if removed will result in many errors

well he may have been trying to delete files directly, rather than using uninstalling programmes….so he could have deleted anything if he didnt know what he was doing

..are you sure you want to delete `system32`?
