Free Vista Software Sunday: MWAV antivirus – no installation required
It’s Sunday. Starting today and every Sunday from now on, we will feature free downloadable cool tools for Windows Vista. To start the ball rolling, we’re going to introduce you to MWAV.
MWAV is a free utility that allows you to scan for and remove viruses, adware, spyware, and other malware from your computer. The utility’s unique feature is that it requires no installation. This means you can run it directly from anywhere on your computer’s hard disk or from a CD ROM.
The utility can be run even if you have other installed antivirus software on your computer.
Developed by MicroWorld Technologies, MWAV 9.x is compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista & 64 bit OS.
MicroWorld says that the detection database for MWAV is updated on a daily basis to detect newer spyware and adware, and the engine is constantly being improvised for faster and intelligent detections.
